A short history
Concepted, designed and developed for the top Dutch festival Extrema Outdoor, the ticketing platform was conceived in 2003 by owner, Marcel Mingers and started out as simple email and e-ticketing system. The initial experimental platform proved so successful that within 2 years over 50% of his event sales we generated through the internet.
In 2007 Timoco was launched and has continued to grow steadily since then. Today, with a new management team and its unique heritage Timoco is focused on providing a highly effective backbone to ticketing and innovation for leading EDM and Festival brands.
What’s next?
The arrival of a new management and development team lead by veteran marketer Shawn Kent (Cirque du Soleil), digital branding expert John Mulholland (Exciting Minds) and development partner Kabisa, raises and sets the bar for a new era at Timoco.
